Sorry for the delayed response, I've been working out the pattern for the basketweave gloves.
Here's what the front would look like
, and then
this would be the inside
. I'm afraid it's a bit harder than I thought.... It'll be easiest for me to knit them flat and seam them up the side (and leave a hole for the thumb, although I could proooobably do a gusset and thumb stub if you really want it!).
Honestly this is a pattern that's going to work best on a shorter glove. Basketweave doesn't stretch a lot anyway, and the yarn loops from the color-swaps restrict it even further. I'd say mid-arm, max? You might want a liner too, otherwise you'll catch your fingers on the loops every time you put them on. The cost for mid-arm gloves in the color-block basketweave would be $30 without a liner, $33 with.
So the final total for both pair of gloves would be $49 unlined or $52 lined. Odds of getting all three pairs into a small flat-rate box are...rather slim.... BUT I'LL DO MY BEST and if it doesn't work out, I have no shortage of other options and I'll keep you posted if the final price is more (or less!) than what I originally quoted.
Here's some printable tape measures
, if you have a printer.... or string and a ruler would work I really just need a rough idea!
